I just realized that I'm not taking any English classes next semester. This will be the first time since I started my schooling that that'll be happening. English has always been one of my best/favorite subjects, so it's gonna be pretty weird to not have in my schedule.

But thank goodness this semester is over. The last few weeks have been so stressful, it'll be so good to just unwind for the break, then start fresh next semester with new classes.

The due date for the final paper being pushed back again is pretty sweet. I had a lot of stuff to do on top of the paper, so now that I have more time, I can take it a bit easier.

I started my Christmas shopping yesterday. I went to Half.com, which is like a branch of eBay that has music, movies, video games, and books marked down to like 80% less than store prices, and it has an awesome selection. Buying stuff online is so much easier than going to the store. I wish I had a debit card last year, it would've made things a breeze.

Thanksgiving break is over, and what a sweet break it was. Seeing all of my friends and family members for the first time in months was exactly what I needed. Plus Christmas break is only like 3 weeks away already. Awesome. I love being home.

Man, registration is such a pain. I can't wait for this to be over already. Hopefully it'll be less annoying next year.

I have no idea what to get anybody for Christmas this year. First of all, I really hope I get a good amount of money for my birthday (December 3) so I can use it on Christmas shopping... if not, I don't even know where the presents are gonna come from. But even after that, it's a matter of guessing with most of the people in my family. For some reason, they hate to tell you what they want, but at the same time they get mad if you don't tell them what to get you.

Ugh.

I think it's funny that my friends always complain about all the boring stuff they have to read/do for their INTD classes, like research hurricanes, or read ridiculous amounts of stuff about Buddha, and when they asked me what my assignment was, I got to tell them "I'm reading 'A Christmas Carol'." They hate me.

I just saw my first Christmas commercial of the year. And it's funny, because whenever that happens, I think "Oh cool, Thanksgiving must be coming soon!" It's kind of ridiculous how trained I am to not even think that Christmas is right around the corner with the arrival of Christmas ads. But then again, I guess it's true when they say that they start earlier every year.
